We have close links with our local churches and community, particularly our local village Church, St Cuthbert’s, which is situated just next door. The Church is an extension of our school.
Open the Book visit the school on a regular basis performing stories from the Bible and the Vicar contributes towards our Collective Worship. Children visit the village church regularly. Weekly for Celebration Collective Worship, regularly to support their RE learning and for various services throughout the year including the Harvest, Easter, Christingle and Year 6 Leavers Service.
As a Church School we are subject to a SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglian Methodist Schools) Inspection.
